I understand if u from the projects that ur gonna sound like the dude who sells the most drugs kills the most probably because ur just afraid of ur enviroment and trying to be scarier/cooler than other rappers but like when u make it out of the hood and become mainstream that narrative/message/image feels forced and unnatural im jus wondering if someone like carti (or another mainstream rapper) would be willing to make their music all about peace n positivity that would be epic. NLE choppa and youngboy for instance have made statements that their not proud of themselves that their music is inspiring violence. Would you guys want to see some of your favorite rappers turn into hippies or would you rather have them and their message remain thesame? Do you know an artist that has done this or been this way from the start?

I know Public Enemy has been a peace and love group from the start. Worth giving their tubes a spin, the songs are fire and had me hooked from the first verse.
