Yup. I was checking in with reddit for a while there but have stopped. I like the vibe of this place so far.

Trying to
I went all in on Lemmy and honestly am having a better time than I did on Reddit.
Iβm trying to, but finding a good client and trying to find replacement communities isnβt as straight forward as Reddit was.
Iβll be spending more time on here since I got a random 3 day ban without a reason. This has been happening every few months.
Welcome!
For clients, https://lemmyapps.netlify.app/ has a good list.
For communities, you can use https://lemmyverse.net/communities
I am not I've found it - its nice to have a real "FRONT PAGE" again.
No bots reposting for Karma, no ads.
just people on a forum - like how reddit used to be.
Im so happy I found this place
Yup, I bailed on Reddit a couple months ago and just discovered lemm.ee. So far, so good.
Yes. Fuck bullies.
I don't even know anyone named Lenny. o.O
Joking aside for the most part I'm already pretty much more on here than there at this point. Only thing I still go there for is the one or two communities that I'm part of there that have no counterpart here. r/typewriters mainly.
Who is Lenny?
Yes. Fuck reddit
I've mostly moved here, though some of my favorite subs dont have an equivalent community here as of now and I'm a bit bummed about losing them.
Yep
To about 90% I have. Some communities still simply don't exist or are essentially dead, so for the times where I need something really specific or just a general content fix I still wander over. But it's been a fraction of the time I spent there previously.
Mostly.
All I'm on Reddit for now is to watch it burn and to participate in the one subreddit I truly care about on there. I'm not participating in anything else on there at all.
Slowly but surely. I can no longer check porn subs on Joey for Reddit so I might try to accelerate the migration.
Infinity is still working at the moment but today I removed it from my home screen and replaced with a Lemmy app. There isn't a community replacement for every subreddit I follow just yet but hopefully Lemmy and other Fediverse services will continue to grow.
Been here for a few days. Feels like home
I am 100%. Sadly i donβt think most Reddit users will until lemmy becomes easier to use and gets a functioning IOS app.
I'm sussing out Lemmy as a replacement. I still go to Reddit but I've pretty much stopped all interactions other than just reading . Reddit has now become a place to fill the blank time in my day between the times I'm busy. Hopefully Lemmy will become a replacement soon than later.
I just use both. Lemmy for general browsing and Reddit when I want a more specific community that isn't around yet.
I was never a 3rd party app user really as I just use old.reddit through the browser on my phone so until old.reddit is killed off I'll probably continue to use both. Once thats gone though I won't be using Reddit, new UI is truly awful
In early June I decided to give Lemmy the old test drive, and I haven't left. Bye Reddit.
( Ν‘Β° ΝΚ Ν‘Β°)
I use lemmy occasionally. I do feel the impact of a significantly smaller community though. A lot of the subreddits I would regularly check are not even here. So unfortunately for now, Iβm forced to use the official app. Tried the RSS route too, but it seems it would be too expensive for me.
Iβm sure the lemmy community will continue to grow, so Iβll stick around.
