I like lemmings but it might be a bit derogatory. Even with that I still think it's better than 'redditors', which always sounded/looked goofy to me.

Any ideas? What do we call Lemmy users?

My current vote is for lemmings. I think it's cute.

Lemurians, it is unique and isn't animal related.

This reminded me of Child of Light!

My favorites from this thread are Lemurs, Lemmites and Lemurians, in that order.

We could go with federators as we are now part of the fediverse, then we can also include mastodonians

WEVE been the Feds all along??

The real Feds are the friends we made along the way.

By the way, you are under arrest.

Yes. This is correct.

I would like to cast a ballot for "lemmons"

[–] sunspider@lemmy.world 1 points 1 year ago

Asking the important questions! I won't deny this has already crossed my mind. I do think lemmings sounds like the best option.

I also agreed with lemmings on a previous post. Coming from Reddit, self deprecating is the least of my worries 🀣

Lemmino... oh wait?

[–] elk@lemmy.ml 0 points 1 year ago* (last edited 1 year ago)

Lemmites (pronounced Leh-Mites) could be one of the contenders. One can also go about saying, β€œLemmites here have been nothing but kind ….” or something like, β€œA lemmite suggested me this website!”
