hell ye dude
Thank god.
Thank god.
Where do I sign up?
I tried signing up but clicking the green button doesn't do anything. I think the form might be broken. Firefox mobile.
Try in another browser. I had same problem using the signup link on Firefox mobile. Got it to work in chrome though.
With the shields up in Brave (on PC), the signup box does not display correctly
*Edit: updated to specify this was on PC
I liked kbin more than Lemmy but I like sync more than anything. I guess Lemmy is my main go to now. GL and thank you.
This is how we cope
Putting my name here

First Boost, now Sync? Amazing!
Looking forward to it. Thanks for doing this!
When will this open for all users? I miss the sync experience I had with reddit. It was daily ritual.
I know - no ETAs, but how far approximately the first dev release is?
Looking forward to Sync π
Excuse the dumb question, but is it going to be just for Android? Or maybe an iOS version too?
Go here and follow the instructions to install a lemmy.world web app complete with shortcut that feels pretty close to the UI of Apollo.
I'm super confused.. Nothing on this post or in the link says what "sync for lemmy" is. Is it a tool to sync reddit and lemmy?
Is this going to be for iOS or Android, or both?
I hope the old ui customisations will be available, would be great.
I'm also wondering what will be done about lemmy's wierdness about subscribing to subs, where you need to search up the sub on your instance etc.
Even sharing the comment discussions is useless if the recipient isn't already from the instance (probably are but many won't be obvs), the site won't let them comment unless they find the discussion mirrors on their own instance. So how will sync for lemmy deal with these eccentricities (that lemmy devs are also obvs going to deal with in the future)??
Thanks.
Yeah this is the wierd one. I still don't fully grasp how to work around, or with it, either.
