MODERATORS

Summary

Trump announced he would cut U.S. funding to South Africa over alleged human rights violations, echoing Elon Musk’s repeated and false claims that the government discriminates against whites.

Trump appeared to reference South Africa’s new Expropriation Act, which allows land redistribution in certain cases. Musk has falsely accused the country of enabling "genocide" against white farmers.

South African officials denied Trump’s claims and defended the law.

The funding cut could impact $400 million in U.S. aid, including HIV/AIDS programs, and jeopardize South Africa’s AGOA trade benefits.

Is Musk's criticism that SA ended apartheid?

Oh, hey, guys let's play a guessing game. Which developing African county has yet to approve Starlink for use while other countries are all about it.

Hmmmm......which one, which one...hmmm...

Who gives a fuck? They ended USAID anyways. And this is just going to solidify their BRICS stance and push the idea of a new currency that much harder.

Edit: before I get flooded with downvotes for the "who gives a fuck" part, that was about the fact that hasn't changed. They weren't going to get anything anyways.

So failing to start a race war there failed. Mandela was having none of it. This is why communists are absolutely intolerant of liberals. And why MLK said the moderate is more a danger than virulently racist.

Especially because moderate means nothing, the left-right spectrum is splintered.

Do you mean people left of Biden who are not communists?

Do you mean idiots between Biden and trump who can't tell the difference?

Do you mean the liberal "conservatives" who want to keep everything the way it was in Reagan's time against trump's fascist coup?

...do you mean European-style liberal/democratic socialists?

PS: I forgot to add the NYT and CNN journalists who pretend that nothing odd is happening.
