and I specifically picked the image without the water advertising that it's washable because I wanted it to be less clear that it was a personal care product too

That's what he said.

I bought one recently and my recommendations are full of them https://i.imgur.com/pb1Afy9.jpeg

And a damn good one too. Made by a Korean steel company for some reason.

The company is Royal Metal Industry from South Korea. Golden Birdie www.royalmetal.co.kr Never thought I would be enthousiaste about a nose trimmer but yeah that little gadget is well built, mechanically simple yet elegant and and don't have random nose hair tickling me anymore. (Guess I'm c/dullmen material now)

Oh you squeeze the bottom part. Mine looks the same on top, you just spin the outside part.

It's called a birdie and is for trimming nose and ear hair.

Have one, would recommend.

Looks to me one of those nose/ear hair trimmers.

Despite having not yet participated in these, I'm enjoying it a lot. I try to guess before looking at the comments and got my wife joining in. Please more!

Damn I was gonna jokingly say hand operated nose hair trimmer but apparently that's right? That's crazy. The tip is what gives it away I think.

Is it a wine bottle opener? Squeezing the handles drives the screw down?

[–] Apytele@sh.itjust.works 9 points 5 days ago

ok but I'm glad that you did try though and I actually know for certain that you did not reverse image search this so thank you for the verifiably honest participation and I want you to know that you're my favorite <3

I would suggest people hide their answers as spoiler. I came in thinking it was a bottle opener. That definitely doesn't look like a nose hair trimmer!

It does if you've seen a nose hair trimmer before. This is how they've looked for decades.

[–] TisI@reddthat.com 1 points 4 days ago

Yeah, I've never seen one before so there's that.

[–] Sergio@slrpnk.net 2 points 5 days ago (1 children)

I was guessing it was for starting charcoal fires.

[–] TisI@reddthat.com 2 points 5 days ago

Yeah, I could see it being that now that you said it.
