Reason: Not a meme

That’s true. A screenshot of a Threads post does not a meme make.

Share it to someone else (I did), now it's a meme.

Hello friend, Lemmy isn't quite big enough that you need to post these twice, as it is, it will get seen even if you post to an entirely dead community. Multiple times just takes up space

I don't know if they posted to a community on an instance not federating with Lemmygrad but I don't see another post from their profile. But no, it's fine to post to different communities. That's also why cross-posting exists

The other two posts were to .world and to the “No Tankie shit” instance, so just as you imagined.

Not everyone joins redundant communities. Just shake it off and move along. 👍

[–] yokonzo@lemmy.world 0 points 4 weeks ago (1 children)

You don't need to join any communities to see them

You do if you don't browse all and instead curate your own feed.

[–] yokonzo@lemmy.world 0 points 4 weeks ago

I suppose so, I've never considered others probably browser different than me

Different instances are federated with different groups of other instances. By posting to multiple instances it makes it more likely that people would see the post that they would have otherwise not seen.

Lemmy isn't such a limited resource. Taking up space isn't that big a deal.

[–] davel@lemmy.ml 0 points 4 weeks ago (2 children)

Tell me you don’t run a Lemmy instance without telling me you don’t run a Lemmy instance 😂

[–] agamemnonymous@sh.itjust.works 0 points 4 weeks ago (1 children)

I do not run a Lemmy instance.

I know, I was doubling down to reinforce the veracity of the judgement against me, to contextualize my dissent

Agamemnon doth protest too much! 😁

Ah the joys of lost social cues

Can’t win ’em all 🤷

He also wouldn't have made it to this point alive were he Black, nor would he have the same kind of support had he previously spoken out about Black liberation or the Land Back movement for example, rather than how "wokeism" is the cause of racism.

I've said it before and I'll say it again - him shooting a CEO was good and inspiring, putting anyone up on a pedestal, starting a cult of personality, and ignoring some or all of the different systems of oppression at play, is definitely not.

Oh, right, ml instance. Anyway class war is the only war and you can be racist against white people.

[–] MonkderVierte@lemmy.ml 0 points 4 weeks ago (1 children)

Well, class warfare it is not yet. A class system, it is.

[–] millie@beehaw.org 0 points 4 weeks ago

Systematically killing people based on their income by denying them essentials like health care, shelter, and legal protection from financial predation sounds like warfare to me. Especially when you couple it with a complete double standard on what constitutes protection from physical violence.

My understanding is that he was not "charged with terrorism", but NY has a provision where they can use terrorist-like criteria as one of the ways a person can be charged with first-degree murder instead of something lesser.
