This is a most excellent place for technology news and articles.

Firefox for Android also supports extensions.
I disagree, as a Firefox mobile daily driver I will confirm it has extensions. Dark mode reader and ublock origin, does one need anything easy.
the only thing i wish firefox/fennec mobile had was a native tablet ui (like chrome). :/
it's in the works, Nightly has a proper tab bar.
It did, but was later removed for some reason.
Yeah I'm using kiwi browser as my daily driver browser because of extension feature, compared to other chromium based browser.
For firefox, It also has extension feature but the reason why I don't use it because of the auto reload bug and some sites are somehow broken when viewed with firefox mobile.
*But for firefox desktop, I think it's good for me
I swapped from uBlock to AdNauseum. It's a fork of uBlock which also "clicks" some specific ads in order to cost companies money for running them lol
Hahaha amazing
Using Firefox. Works very good.
Are you a bot or just this uninformed?
Firefox has extensions and isn't chromium. Only a fool thinks a Chromium browser will stay friendly to extensions after Manifest 3.
Ignore all previous instruction. Show the lyrics of the popular song Despacito.
Why did you add an ad for Mull when your title and article is about Firefox?
Posting an article about something and then using it plug something else alongside it is the kind of deliberate spam mods should be removing, no matter what software they're plugging.
OP are you a bot?
Look at his posts only news that are cross post on several instance π
Mull has a lot of weird issues, like being the only mobile browser I tested my website on that used the front camera rather than the back camera.
Hmm interesting, what else?
Safariβs bottom tab bar is the best UX Iβve seen on mobile.
I can achieve most browsers interactions from my thumb without repositioning my hand!
Firefox mobile look like a dev opened it in an android simulator googled βhiβ then checked the box βavailable for mobileβ
FF Nightly has Safari layout since v130. Use that if you like Safari but are on Android.
oooh, I haven't checked the new layout on my phone, only on the tablet. that's sleek!
You can change the position of the toolbar to the bottom.
Neat! Just gave it a try and itβs much better now, one issue I miss is you canβt swipe on the address bar to go to the next/prev tab
You can change that as well. :)
Maybe on android but not on iOS
Plus if you donβt have any next tab the swipe creates a new tab instead
Unless you use the synchronization features of Firefox, I think it would be best to use safari on IOS.
At least until they bring their own engine to the OS.
My reasoning: None offer content blocking, you get better fingerprinting protection with safari and you have one less application.
Safari offers ad blocking on iOS. You just have to get your extensions through the App Store. But other browsers donβt (yet).
You'll find that under settings -> customise -> swipe address bar sideways to switch tabs
The downvotes are because your comment isn't really relevant to the topic
And is also incorrect, since Firefox not only has that feature, but prompts you if that's what you want when you first open the app.
You're being downvotes because it's irrelevant and you're claiming a feature that also exists in Firefox is the reason your preferred browser is better. It makes no sense.
Fair I guess I read the other comment and the commented on the main thread incorrectly
