Wood pecker is my guess. Did the same to mine find all the bugs behind and living in the wood
The wood does look pecked.
But... How much could that wood pecker peck?
Depends on the pecking order.
If I had to guess, left to right. But I'm not a ornithologist so I could be wrong.
