4gb is acceptable. Some people just want a phone with a keyboard and bugger screen. Depends on the use case tho.

Its all useless if the very operating system ur using is collecting info about you. Stop using windows

Linux exists. Made for you, not money. For Microsoft user experience is just a side effect in getting profit. It can well be replaced with marketing, as Microsoft has demonstrated.

Then buy a laptop with Linux preinstalled! The popular OEM usually only offer windows laptops but with a simple google search u can find some Linux laptops and nothing is stopping you from installing Linux on that windows laptop. (Are they starting to oem lock like some androids?
