Using flatpak was a hit and miss for me. For some apps it worked, for some apps it didn't (app wasn't running or was crashing). So I would say it benefits no one. If the main purpose is providing a format that "just works on all computers" and doesn't "just work" than it's useless. Now I just try to avoid it.

She's now the head of tourism office in her town so not really. Not kidding.
(Actually she's really old now and retired but she did get a job at the tourism office because her 'work' brought shitload of visitors to the town)
Are you suggesting they can not pay and still operate in EU? If so, based on what?
And what are you LOLing about? Did you read the next sentence? Did you understand it?
They showed the guy in handcuffs because he was arrested. What's your point? I said he will be convicted, just not because of the extra media attention this is getting now.
No, I don't think so. Spanish authorities are usually not moved by media circuses like this and don't have to prove anything to the world. Things like this happen all the time everywhere, just google 'guy kisses reporter' or similar. It's not a Spanish thing. And regarding Spain I found similar case from couple years ago where a guy kissed a reported and was sentenced to a fine. They didn't need World Cup shit storm to apply the law back then and they will simply apply the law in this case.
And he will be sentenced. I doubt he will see prison, probably just probation, but with video evidence like that it should be a quick case.
If it happened a day after you arrived how were you supposed to recognize this part of the city? From you're previous incarnation or something?
What? Would you rather the ultra rich be only super rich? Communists!
It would require variable speed motors and more complex chip and programming so it would be more expensive. Just spinning the plate at the same speed until it makes a full turn could be solved mechanically.
It's a pretty specific patent that says you delay the cooking by couple of seconds while spinning the plate to 'synchronize' the start and stop positions. There are more ways to do it so it would be fairly easy to avoid this patent. I don't know why it's not a standard feature.
How can putting something up your nose asphyxiate you? It can't block the airways, right? It would have to get to you through.
