It's World Bicycle Day today apparently. I had a nice bike ride, followed by a much longer, grumpier walk 'cos I got a puncture and didn't haven't anything on me to fix it.

TIL there is a world bicycle day
You may have seen me talk about my upcoming vacation here and there. All I can say is that vacation is now two weeks away, and I desperately need it.
I hope you'll enjoy it!
Tired. Tired tired tired. In pain, as always. Questioning myself over my lack of accomplishments. Flitting between self-loathing and despair.
So, you know, average start of the week.
Infinite blue balls, so many.
Exams are over so I'm glad about that.
Just finished Doki Doki Literature Club, one of the best games I have ever played. Started The Big Con, it's cool
Money is still tight but things are starting to look up. Good weather is arriving which helps.
Wondering what the point of it all is.
Two months ago I applied for a job I really wanted. I went through three informal and two formal interviews with the senior developers and manager. I was competing against some of my coworkers which kind of sucks. Yesterday I finally got the news - the job is mine! Wages are low in my state but I am still getting a 15k per year increase. I nearly fainted when they told me. The luck plane finally tilted in my direction.
Not bad at all. Our band's rehearsal space got flooded a bit due to heavy rainfall yesterday. We're lucky to be there just when it started raining so we could move our gear to the dry part of the basement and start getting the water out.
It's going pretty well overall. Hitting up a local conference for work and having a good time while learning a bit too.
My paternal leave ended last week. I can't decide if I'm more tired at work than I was at home, but I'm definitely still tired and I've been told this will continue for a long time.
No idea when baby will start sleeping through the night instead of waking up demanding food and then staying up for a few extra hours just because. Wife at least gets a few hours of afternoon nap but she's not any less tired.
Don't worry about it. The baby stage is one of the shortest part of parenting, try to enjoy it while you can. Before long, they'll get independent and you'll wonder why they didn't need you anymore.
At least that's what happened to me.
