Jerboa is a native-android client for Lemmy, built using the native android framework, Jetpack Compose.

Warning: You can submit issues, but between Lemmy and lemmy-ui, I probably won't have too much time to work on them. Learn jetpack compose like I did if you want to help make this app better.

Due to the security incident last night, my instance required all users to log in again. I tried in jerboa and could not. I am posting this from my browser.

v0.0.38

Edit: I was able to get it to work when I tried today. Changes since my last attempt

-closed the app and opened android app properties and cleared all app storage and cache

-2fa is now enabled

-checked for no trailing spaces from the phone keyboard (found no need for corrections)

Thanks!

I installed Jerboa a month ago and everytime I try to login it crashs. Installed from F-droid on Lineageos.

Make sure the phone keyboard isn't adding trailing spaces to the username. This prevented me from logging in.

Do you have multiple accounts? I had to log out of all of mine before signing back into any of them.

I'm having the same issue, were you able to get it to work?

I've already tried logging out of all of my accounts and clearing it's app data, I'm at a loss really.

Edit: Now it seems to be working, not sure what's changed but I don't mind.

One thing to try: go to app properties and clear storage after upgrade. It seems jerboa has had some problems with something there before.
