Also adguard dns filtering on my mobile devices. Would highly recommend panicbutton as a quick way to set a task aside without opening a new window and unhook to filter out the trash YouTube is shoveling onto the home page

I use cookie autodelete. Automatically deletes cookies on tab close / domain change. Allows whotelisting for the sites you want to keep logged in. Can’t recommend it enough.

basically allows you to easily have multiple accounts on websites while also making sure everything stays contained to its own bubble, and anything I don't have a dedicated container for gets a temporary container that deletes the cookies after a bit ~~in order for me to both not care about cookies and also not get any cookies.~~ at this point mostly because I don't like accidentally having an account on a non-contained instance
ff2mpv - easily launch videos in mpv, requires a bit of setup
Image Search Options - finding the source of most drawings, spotting which anime a clip is from etc
Yomichan for quick access to locally installed dictionaries (for Japanese in this case)
Toggle Clipboard
behind! - makes it easy to access images hidden under layout tricks
Better Youtube+ - adds a few extra buttons such as download to youtube videos

Cookiebro - autodeletes all non-whitelisted cookies ten minutes after creation

EmuParadise Download Workaround - Nintendo made them hide the links, this shows them. May not be relevant anymore, haven't used it in a while
Old Wikipedia Layout - edits all wikipedia links to include ?useskin=vector so it doesn't use the garbage new layout
Redirect Twitter to Nitter - as it says on the tin, turns all twitter links to corresponding nitter links
Simple Youtube Age Restriction Bypass - as it says on the tin
Privacy Badger - EFF tracker blocker

The only one I use that wasn't mentioned yet is unpaywall, for finding scientific articles in open databases.
Vinegar on safari for iOS / macOS is probably the extension I find the most useful day to day. It replaces the usual YouTube video player with a standard html5 player. So no ads, and support for PiP.
