My entire knowledge about India comes from The Big Bang Theory. So I'm likely not the right person to comment.
A country full of people that absolutely have to get off the plane RIGHT NOW! The plane is back on the ground! Why aren't we off the plane RIGHT NOW! Nevermind the fact that it's still moving, we have to get off NOW!

It's unfortunate that their infrastructure isn't great right now. It's unfortunate the inequality in their society right now. They are still recovering from what England did.
Nevertheless, it is the home of some of humanity's greatest culture. Amazing food, beautiful people, wonderful aesthetics, fascinating languages. Spiritual home to some of the most profound philosophy and religion humans have ever created. Amazing flora and fauna too.
Everything about India is incredible. There's just a lot of work to do.

Seriously though, it's amazing how many people can't see how they use the same fucking rhetoric talking about Indians that they themselves would immediately condemn being used against any other population.
India was systematically robbed by an industrialized, kleptomaniac regime less than a century ago. And today they are working to position themselves to be a major world power in the future and fans of colonialism and Western hegemony can't stand it.
Yep, afford to the people the same dignity that you would afford to the population of any other country with a bad govt. Govt can change, people are a large and varied collection and not a monolith to describe in a singular method.
