Insert MLK quote on the White Moderate

[–] huf@hexbear.net 19 points 1 month ago

time was that fascists did fascism to "defeat judeobolshevism", but they seem to have stumbled on a cheat code.

now they're doing fascism to defeat fascism. much neater, more self-contained.

Why do Marxists say ‘liberals will always side with fascists’? That’s preposterous and offensive.

matt-jokerfied IT IS EXPLICITLY NOT GIVING HER MORE VOTES! IT IS CLEARLY COSTING HER MANY MANY VOTES! EVEN IN SWING STATES!

maybe-later-honey: “But the cool cool sexy Republican internet popular kids will accuse me of being a small pp CUCKOLD! They drew UGLY caricatures of us in 2016 because we weren’t Islamophobic enough!”

she says she'll actively facilitate it, that isn't "letting"

Liberals learn that there are other ethical schools of thought than the must unhinged applications of Utilitarianism change

Status: impossible

Well, as assholish as he is, at least that guy is honest.

If people started likewise admitting that they are genociding Ukrainians (because hey, it also hurts Russia, so it's worth it) instead of "but we are helping Ukraine!" that would already be a huge progress..

[–] yogthos@lemmy.ml 6 points 1 month ago

indeed, at least they wouldn't be mincing words about what they're actually doing

[–] Randomgal@lemmy.ca 3 points 1 month ago

Sounds like some people from Lemmy are also on xitter.

[–] linkhidalgogato@lemmy.ml 2 points 1 month ago

its not even true if she said she was against genocide and would put a stop to it as soon as she had power and openly criticized Biden for his support of genocide she would get waaaaay more votes. But also genocide is just straight up too high a price regardless of what is in the other side of the scale.

This whole thing of attempting to identify the epitome of a certain party is pretty pathetic. Why cant we just agree the person on this picture is nothing more than a brainwashed idiot devoid of empathy. And ironically this makes the OP of this post the same, a brainwashed idiot who cant just see people for who they are rather than plaster a label and generalize a wide population.

You are still ok with genocide, you just whine and lie about it more than that "Treats" person.

[–] Random123@fedia.io -1 points 1 month ago (1 children)

Never was ok with genocide. Are you still going to act like every person who doesnt agree with you is a brainwashed democrat?

And please enlighten me what am i lying about? This is gonna be funny :)

[–] PolandIsAStateOfMind@lemmy.ml 1 points 1 month ago* (last edited 1 month ago) (1 children)

Stop whining, you are voting on a perpetrator of genocide, and you know it, and you just lied again, the very same lie:

Never was ok with genocide

It's even funny to you

like every person who doesnt agree with you is a brainwashed democrat?

No, you aren't brainwashed, you are very cosncious, cynical even, genocide supporter.

[–] Random123@fedia.io 1 points 1 month ago (1 children)

Who says i was voting in anyone? Youre making up a story in your head you must be terminally online. Have you tried touching grass?

brainwashed, sad lol

[–] GarbageShootAlt2@lemmy.ml 2 points 1 month ago (1 children)

Turns out when something happens a lot, it's more useful to try to view it systemically than to write each person individually off as an "idiot devoid of empathy". "Brainwashing" is a myth, but pretending it's real, who do you think "brainwashed" this guy? Surely not Republicans, they've got their own attitudes and talking points that are unhinged but distinct from this.

[–] Random123@fedia.io 2 points 1 month ago

Its only useful or should i say effective for cases where there isnt much variability.

But If you genuinely look deeply into why theres so much division/apathy toward one another youll will realize that it is because of that very line of thinking that you advocate. You will ignore the voices of reason and only give your attention to the loud extremist minority and you will treat that as the voice of the majority.

Its a bit wild if you dont believe brainwashing doesnt exist, i would like to know why you believe that.

As for this poor bastard, if we assume its, hes brainwashed because hes convinced himself that every opposing person thinks exactly the way he believes so he treats them accordingly. If brainwashing isnt to be conditioned to act/believe a certain way as calculated then idk what brainwashing is
