Mildly Interesting

This is for strictly mildly interesting material. If it's too interesting, it doesn't belong. If it's not interesting, it doesn't belong.

This is obviously an objective criteria, so the mods are always right. Or maybe mildly right? Ahh.. what do we know?

Just post some stuff and don't spam.

This is almost a bit too interesting.

I know, right? I think I need to go look at a beige wall for a few minutes to calm down.

Dangerously interesting.

It’s for your pleasure

Ah man that's stunning.

How is this mildly interesting?!

I love fluid mechanics and this is absolutely gorgeous.

Dang I think this is really cool. Never really thought about what it looks like under a wave. Have always been jealous of the awesome view surfers get as the surf through the tube of a breaking wave.

Well... You don't really want to open your eyes in the ocean.

As long as you wear eye protection like goggles or a snorkel mask, the ocean is amazing to look at underwater.

What is the scale of this? Am I looking underneath a huge wave or an adva?

Apparently he does live long enough to become the villain.

With this kind of conversation we truly have outgrown the capitalist original system.

Are these the same mechanics forming tornadoes? Could a superstorm produce these?

[–] Ubermeisters@lemmy.zip 13 points 1 year ago

If you mean "fluid dynamics", then yes.

How does one know if this is a real photo or AI generated?

[–] havokdj@lemmy.world 4 points 1 year ago

Wow, I wouldn't mind having this hung on my wall to be honest, cool photo.

I think I've been caught in those many times but I always had my eyes closed, finally I can see what I missed

Wait, so you actually swirl around these tendril things? How strong are they?
