Coding cuz it's interactive and it allows for generating a lot of detail.
First I've heard of coding being regarded as a creative medium but I get it and I like it!
What's your biggest or best project been?
And biggest project is like a massive process that I make pictures of, like of the debug output that helps me make it. It's about nature embracing every space it can live in, including digital space.
And best? Well I get a lot of positive reactions for pussy mirror, which is a collab with someone else. It's AR and it's a bunch of cats that mirror the audience, like on a screen or wall by projector. It's not my favorite but it's engaging for all audiences of all ages and cultures. I love to creep people out by talking about the neural net used for visual detection.
If you're a bit technical you can try it out. Install a beginner IDE like Process and try to draw a tree using an L system. Maybe it's accessible via Python too with a library that allows you to open a window and draw some lines and colors.
I swear I'm normal, but pussy mirror startled me there. That does sound like a cool project tho!
BTW I've edited the post and added a pic.
Startled you in what way?
On the internet, those words rarely have a sfw meaning.
Ah, you're American?
Not at all
Well, the innuendo is on purpose. It was our working title and it stuck.
I'm gonna say coding as well. You can do all kinds of stuff. From programming a little robot that runs across your house, to more elaborate projects with proper soldering and engineering. Or you design a game, come up with an entire world inside your computer screen. Maybe with physics that work unlike we know from the real world. Many people also use coding to solve the small problems of their lives. Sometimes bigger ones. Write a website to connect people. Sell used stuff in the neighborhood...
The process itself is creative, too. At least for most of the part. Some amount is boring, hard work, too. I think I can admit that.
