bro you basically have to pinch a bee to get it to sting you, they're the insect equivalent of sheep.
Not in my experience.
There have been so many yellow jackets and wasps that used to live in front of this house, and they tended to dive bomb anyone headed between the driveway and front door.
That and I got caught up in a swarm when a friend of mine stepped on a yellow jacket best when we were all about 7 or 8. I just happened to be nearby and got stung 16 times. My younger brother got hit at least 18 (they list count at that point) and he needed an epi for even though without a known allergy to bee stings. Maybe after almost 20 songs you get symptoms anyway.
Either way, I've never forgiven bees since that day and I never will. I'm not out hunting them down or anything, but if I encounter them, and it's somewhere I have regular need to go, they're getting evicted without warning with prejudice. And I will laugh while they're dying.
