It's astonishing how Trump and many other conservatives are so prone to claiming that anything that goes wrong in any way is some sort of conspiracy against them. Shit never goes sideways due to anything they did, there's always someone else at fault.

Not that I necessarily believe that Fox poll is accurate, exactly for the reason @Hayduke@lemmy.world points out in their comment – just as likely to be bullshit meant to scare conservatives into voting for him.
