You can also set your avatar and banner on the Lemmy tab of Settings

Banners on communities and users now show in the feed header instead of a smaller image at the top of the sidebar.

The sorting of communities when selecting one to make a new post (both the alphabetization of your subscribed communities and the popularity sorting of the search results) is better.

Fixed a 400 error that was happening when viewing modlog actions on a user.

If I broke a rule, I apologize, but I'd like to know what I did. Yesterday, I posted a user-generated map of ICE agent sightings and Lemmy.world's automod immediately deleted the post and banned me from the entire site. I have no idea why that post, above all my other interactions with !resist@fedia.io, warranted a sitewide ban. Is it because I changed the title to blame a vile subreddit when the map went down? I really hope it isn't partisan bias.

Found this article while scrolling the Internet. I feel it is pretty applicable to my short experience on the Fediverse so far, since the decentralizaiton aspect of it is offset by the fact that user data is tied heavily to the server you register to, and that the server can dictate what other content you see. "Federal agents arrived at the school as they were searching for an 11-year-old who posted an anti-Trump video, according to a CPS source. Agents had visited a home and were told the person was a student at Hamline, the source said.
